Position switches on shutoff valves are nowadays common practice to indicate if a shutoff is open or closed. ISOV can be fitted with two main types of switches:
-Mechanical Switch (shown in the picture above)
-Photo electric switch
ISOV mechanical switches comply to European standard EN ISO/IEC 17050-1.
ISOV mechanical switches are IP67 rated which exceed requirements such as for industrial plants, marine, shipping etc.
In addition to above mentioned types, we can fit any ISOV with an explosion proof switch if needed.
